This week, September 23th through 29th, is National Nanny Recognition Week. A perfect time for employers to let their nanny know how much the great work she does means to their family. We all know that helping to raise a child is important work and nannies take that responsibility seriously. They spend their days making the most of teachable moments, fostering healthy development, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and most importantly, creating days filled with love and laughter. In between all those lofty endeavors, they also deftly handle the multitude of mundane tasks that go along with growing kids and a busy household. Yeah, that deserves a week of appreciation.
